1 QA Leading Engineer Q.C. 3 Negotiable

1.1Job Responsibilities

1) Be able to independently to develop Project Quality Plan covering all customer requirements to a level of detail necessary to assure integration within the Project Quality Plan.

2) Determine & formalize project QC requirements.

3) Prepare ITP and monitor ITP implementation throughout the project cycle.

4) Determine NDT requirements as per project contract/specification and Issue NDT drawings.

5) Supervise the CIR compilation (production QC records) and entry to PCM system.

6) Oversee the project fabrication to verify compliance per project requirements.

7) Issue NCR/CAR for non-compliance to QC requirements. Follow-up to ensure closure and preventive/corrective action.

8) Monitor Weld repair rates to ensure project fabrication meets to corporate goals.

9) Participate in project Quality audits.

10)Perform audits of sub-contractors, vendors and suppliers to establish Approved Vendors List.

11)Assure through proper utilization of auditor resources and audit verification the effective execution of the QC system.

12)Liaise with the Certifying Authority on documents specified to seek verification, assessment and appraisal of their conformity and fitness to the codes and regulations.

13)Prepare Quality related lessons-learned through project Close-out Report to ensure preventive measures are deployed.

14)Provide data for Management Review of the Management System to present effectiveness of the system, areas of reoccurring deficiencies and areas for improvement. Proposes recommended goals with senior area management for continual improvement.

15)Conduct preventive action analysis to determine root cause and the necessary measure to avoid re-occurrence.

16)Initiate Quality Planning for the project to assure compliance first time through proactive and preventive measures and consults with the Quality Manager concerning prevention and appraisal resources and the effectiveness of project Quality Plan/Procedures necessary to achieve the product quality.

17)Participate in the Contract Review (kick-off meeting) to identity the "key factors for success" plus the risks and define / implement preventive action. Identify issues and concerns.

18)Liaise with the QC / NDT / Certification Personnel and Customer to ensure that Quality problems are addressed and technically resolved.

19)Liaise with Engineering groups, PMT, Purchasing, Inspection and customer to ensure customer spec requirements are integrated into the Engineering and Vendor data documents of supplied products.

20)Administer the vendor inspection process through the assigned coordinator.

21)Oversee the As Built Project Certification as it is progressed through work approval packages and monitors progress/status of mechanical completion.

22)Besides the above-listed, shall be responsible for other duties assigned by department manager or the company.

23)Effectively organize and arrange the work of QA Engineer /Drafter to improve work efficiency and ensure the quality and quantity of design tasks.

24)Maintain a good design interface with related discipline.

25)Report to instrument supervisor and project manager.

1.2Job Specification

1) Relevant working experience in Construction/Fabrication/Projects in Oil & Gas Industry.

2) Degree in related discipline with knowledge of fabrication/projects as per codes & standards like AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3/B31.8, API-2A/2B, ASME B&PVC Section-IX/II(Part-C)/ VIII (Div-I, II), API 1104.

3) Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

4) Good technical writing and computer skills.

5) Should be assertive towards effective implementation of Quality Goals.

6) Should have previous relevant experience.

7) Min. 7/8 yrs hands-on experience in Fabrication industry having exposure to Inspection, NDT, Blasting & Painting, E&I, Certification, Punch-list preparation & follow up, Preparation of ITP, NDT maps/drawings, QA/QC procedures as per Fabrication / Inspection / codes & corporate procedures. Should be able to review Piping test packs & NDT reports, Liaise with NDT subcon on day-to-day basis. Supervision of Inspection generated reports to ensure compilation of project dossiers.8) Masters or Degree in Welding / Metallurgy / Materials Science / Mechanical (or relevant) with additional Certifications - Welding: IWE, Inspection: AWS-CWI/SCWI or CSWIP3.1/3.2; NDT Level-II; Coating: NACE/BGAS/FROTIO; Lead/Internal Auditor.

 

2 Leading Engineer of Rotating Equipment Engineering 3 Negotiable

2.1Job Responsibilities

1) Be able to independent compete the design of rotating equipment of small and medium-sized projects in the petrochemical industry, including concept design, basic design and detailed design.

2) Be responsible for the preparation of rotating equipment design documents, to meet the procurement, equipment manufacturing and on-site installation needs, including the following design documents. All kinds of rotating equipment mechanical data sheet, including compressors, pumps, fans and assembly equipment etc. Technical specifications, Technical bid evaluation, Material requisition.

3) Be responsible for supplier design document review, support equipment procurement and site construction, and provide necessary technical support.

4) Be responsible for good communication and design interface coordination with other various disciplines in the project, responsible for receiving and offering conditions and requirements from and to other majors.

5) Report to rotating equipment supervisor and project manager.

2.2Job Specification

1) Bachelor degree or above, Chemical Equipment and Machinery or similar specialty.

2) 5-year or more rotating equipment design experience in oil and chemical industry; Experience in domestic petrochemical design institute or EPC engineering company is preferred.

3) Be very familiar with common design standards and SPECS, including GB, HG, API and so on. Skilled at selection of commonly used rotating equipment; understand the physical and chemical properties of commonly used materials; be able to choose suitable materials according to the specific conditions; familiar with rotating equipment design process and procedures as well as the design interface; have good team spirit and strong communication skills.

4) Good English writing; be capable of oral communication on technical issues; Registered engineer certificate is preferred.

3 Piping Detail Engineer Engineering 3 Negotiable

3.1Job Responsibilities

1) Be able to independent compete the piping detail design in the petrochemical industry, including concept design, basic design and detailed design.

2) Be responsible for the preparation of piping design documents, to meet the procurement, equipment manufacturing and on-site installation needs, including the following design documents.

a) Project specifications and datasheets.

b) Procurement deliverables.

c) Prepare pipe stress analysis and review critical pipe supports.

3) Provide updates and issue piping line list as required.

4) Verify inputs to line list.

5) Provide necessary technical support for equipment procurement and site construction.

6) Effectively organize and arrange the work of Piping Engineer /Drafter to improve work efficiency and ensure the quality and quantity of design tasks.

7) Coordinate piping activities with other engineering disciplines to maintain a good design interface with related discipline.

8) Report to piping supervisor and project manager.

3.2Job Specification

1) Bachelor or above in Piping, Chemical engineering, Mechanical or related disciplines.

2) 3 years’ work experience on package project engineering in petrochemical industry.

3) Familiar about the detail design and analysis for package project in petrochemical industry.

4) Familiar about the international standard used for package project design in petrochemical industry.

5) Able to use PDMS, CADworx and Auto CAD etc.

6) Good English writing and fluent oral English.

7) Good team spirit and strong communication skills.

 

4 Process Engineer Engineering 3 Negotiable

4.1Job Responsibilities

1) Independently complete the process design in chemical and petrochemical industries, including conceptual design, basic engineering and detailed design.

2) Be responsible for the preparation of process design documents, to meet the procurement, equipment manufacturing and on-site installation needs, covering the following design jobs:

a) Evaluate the design basis and prepare process simulation and H&M balances.

b) Develop PFDs and P&IDs.

c) Perform process calculations and process studies.

d) Size equipment and provide process data to common template for equipment list.

e) Provide line sizing and provide process data to line list.

f) Evaluate all hydraulics for the project.

g)Prepare specifications and process data inputs to mechanical/

instrumentation datasheets.

h) Review supplier data.

i) Provide assistance to piping, instrument and electrical engineering for related information.

j) Participate in HAZOP analyses.

3) Provide necessary technical support for equipment procurement and site construction.

4) Effectively organize and arrange the work of Process Engineer /Drafter to improve work efficiency and ensure the quality and quantity of design tasks.

5) Maintain a good design interface with related discipline.

6) Report to process supervisor and project manager.

4.2Job Specification

1)Bachelor or above in Chemical engineering, Mechanical or related disciplines.

2)Familiar about the detail design and analysis for package project in petrochemical industry.

3)Familiar about the international standard used for package project design in petrochemical industry.

4)Able to use AutoCAD.

5)3years’ work experience on process engineering.

6)Good team spirit and strong communication skills.

7)Good English writing and fluent oral English; Candidates with registered qualification or professional title are preferred.

 

5 E&I Detail Engineer Engineering 3 Negotiable

5.1Job Responsibilities

1) Independently complete the instrumentation design in chemical and petrochemical industries, including conceptual design, basic engineering and detailed design.

2) Be responsible for the preparation of instrument & electric design documents, to meet the procurement, equipment manufacturing and on-site installation needs, including the following design documents:

a) Logic and control bock diagram.

b) Field instrument selection and calculation (including liquid level, pressure, temperature and flow meter and control valve, etc.)

c) Inquiry and order data of field instrument and control system (PCS/DCS/PLC, SIS/ESD)

d) Instrument index table and l/O table.

e) Instrument plan.

f) Instrument loop diagram.

g) Instrument wiring diagram.

3) Provide necessary technical support for equipment procurement and site construction.

4) Effectively organize and arrange the work of Instrument Engineer /Drafter to improve work efficiency and ensure the quality and quantity of design tasks.

5) Maintain a good design interface with related discipline.

6) Report to instrument supervisor and project manager.

5.2Job Specification

1) Bachelor degree or above, Measurement and Control Technology and     Instrument or similar specialty.

2) More than 4 years of chemical or petrochemical instrument design experience; work experience in the domestic petrochemical design institute or EPC engineering company is preferred.

3) skilled at selection and calculation of field instruments; familiar with SH/HG codes, GB, ISA and ASME standards and engineering practices, master the design interface with process, piping, architecture, structure, equipment, electrical and HVAC etc.

4) Good team spirit and strong communication skills5) Good English writing and fluent oral English; Candidates with registered qualification or professional title are preferred.

 

6 Static Equipment Engineer Engineering 3 Negotiable

6.1Job Responsibilities

1) Be able to independently compete the design of static equipment of small and medium-sized projects in the petrochemical industry, including concept design, basic design and detailed design.

2) Be responsible for the preparation of static equipment design documents to meet the procurement, equipment manufacturing and on-site installation needs, including the following design documents.

a). All kinds of static equipment mechanical data sheet, including pressure vessel, atmospheric tank, heat exchanger tower, etc.

b) Technical specifications.

c) Calculation of pressure vessels.

d)Engineering drawings.

e) Technical bid evaluation.

f) Maternal requisition.

3) Be responsible for supplier design document review, support equipment procurement and site construction, and provide necessary technical support.

4) Be responsible for good communication and design interface coordination with other various disciplines in the projects, responsible for receiving and offering conditions and requirements from and to other majors.

5) Report to static equipment supervisor and project manager.

6.2Job Specification

1) Bachelor degree or above, Chemical Equipment and Machinery or similar specialty.

2) 5-year or more static equipment design experience in oil and chemical industry; Experience in domestic petrochemical design institute or EPC engineering company is preferred.

3) Be very familiar with common design standards and SPECS, including GB, ASME and so on; Skilled at design software SW6, understand the physical and chemical properties of commonly used materials; familiar with static equipment design process and procedures as well as the design interface; have good team spirit and strong communication skills.
